WOW, I just love this picture. I think it has many great quality's, the composition is great, the posture of the girl, the black and white, the shalow depth of field with the light background (no distractions), great!

nice work! I think I would have composed it a bit differently...had the girl looking toward the blank space instead of at the edge of the frame. Try putting more "space" in front of the field of vision of the subject if you can, or crop it out in post-production. B & W was a perfect choice for this serious expression.
